Data we collect
None. Zeno IPTV does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data. There are no user accounts on our side, and we operate no servers that receive your information. We do not use advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or tracking technologies.
Local storage only
The playlist URL, optional Xtream Codes credentials (username and password), favorites, watch history, resume positions, and preferences you enter are stored only on your Mac, inside the app's macOS App Sandbox container. This data never leaves your device except to reach the provider you configure.
Network connections
- Your IPTV provider: the app connects to the playlist and streaming server you enter in Settings to load channels and play video. Traffic goes directly between your Mac and that server.
- The Movie Database (TMDB): to display posters, summaries, and genres, the app may send content titles (e.g. a movie or series name) to themoviedb.org. These requests contain no personal identifiers.
No tracking
- We do not collect any personal identifiers.
- We do not track which channels or content you watch.
- The app contains no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
Permissions & sandbox
- Zeno IPTV runs inside the macOS App Sandbox with outbound network access only.
- It does not request Camera, Microphone, Location, Contacts, or Full Disk Access.
- It reads only files you explicitly choose (for example a local playlist file).
Parental lock
The parental lock PIN and locked-category settings are stored securely and only on your Mac. Removing the app or its container data erases them permanently.
Content responsibility
Zeno IPTV is a player only. It does not provide, host, index, or supply any channels, streams, movies, or subscriptions. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any content you load into the app.
Policy updates
This policy may be updated when the app changes. The effective date below will be updated when material changes are made.
