StreamBridge Support

Help for authorized livestream relay.

StreamBridge relays authorized HLS/RTMP livestream sources to configured streaming destinations on macOS.

Common Setup

  • Open Settings.
  • Choose Custom HLS/RTMP URL as the source.
  • Enter a direct source URL you are authorized to relay.
  • Add one or more destinations such as YouTube, Kick, Twitch, or a custom RTMP endpoint.
  • Enter the destination server URL and stream key.
  • Return to the live screen and press Start.

Important Limits

  • StreamBridge does not unlock or bypass protected streams.
  • The Mac App Store build does not include automatic Twitch/Kick URL resolving.
  • Only relay sources and destination accounts you own, manage, or are authorized to use.
  • If a destination rejects the relay, check the service's stream key, server URL, codec requirements, and account live-streaming status.

FAQ

Why does my source URL fail?

Use a direct HLS or RTMP media URL. The Mac App Store build does not resolve public watch or channel URLs automatically.

Where are stream keys stored?

Stream keys are stored locally and encrypted with macOS Keychain-backed storage when available.

Do I need Homebrew, Python, or terminal setup?

No. Packaged builds include the required runtime components for supported workflows.
