Privacy Policy for Compass.

This policy applies to Compass and Compass Pro by Zerone Apps. Compass is a mobile utility for direction, level, and optional location display features.

Data We Collect

  • Location, if you grant location permission, to show your current position or nearby address information inside the app.
  • App interactions, diagnostics, and device identifiers may be collected by advertising, analytics, and app health SDKs used in the app.
  • We do not require an account and we do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, contacts, photos, messages, or financial information.

How Data Is Used

  • Location is used for app functionality, such as displaying coordinates or address details when the feature is enabled.
  • Diagnostics and app activity are used to measure app performance, improve stability, and understand feature usage.
  • Device identifiers and app activity may be used for advertising, fraud prevention, security, compliance, analytics, and app performance measurement.

Sharing

  • Location data is not sold by us. If reverse geocoding or platform services are used, location may be processed by the operating system or service provider to return address information.
  • Advertising, analytics, and crash reporting SDK providers may receive app interactions, diagnostics, and device identifiers according to their own privacy terms.
  • We do not sell personal data.

Permissions

  • Location: Optional permission for showing your current location or address-related compass features.
  • Internet and network access: Used for ads, app services, and network-based information used by the app or SDKs.
  • Vibration and screen-awake behavior: Used for app interaction feedback and keeping the compass visible while in active use.

Children and Families

If the app is used by children, we limit collection to what is needed for app functionality, advertising, analytics, security, compliance, and app performance as disclosed in Google Play. Parents or guardians can contact us at any time with privacy questions.
